ABOUT TFDC
The Fox Den Collective is an Edmonton-based indie theatre company that strives to create highly interactive and site-specific work. TFDC is comprised of Carmen Osahor, Jessy Ardern and Sarah Feutl. After completing the BFA Acting program at the University of Alberta together in 2016, they lived as roommates in a multicolour home that became known as the Fox Den. They subsequently founded The Fox Den Collective in 2018. TFDC committed to being a carbon neutral company in 2020.

Jessy Ardern (she/her) is a prairie-based theatre artist. Favourite acting projects include Romeo in Romeo and Juliet and Maria in Twelfth Night (FreeWill Shakespeare Festival) Margarethe in Copenhagen and Procne in If We Were Birds (Bleviss Lab. Theatre), and Regan in Queen Lear is Dead (TFDC). Jessy is also a multi-award winning playwright whose credits include The Fall of the House of Atreus: A Cowboy Love Song (Sterling Award for Outstanding Fringe New Work 2016/2017), Prophecy, and Queen Lear is Dead (Outstanding Fringe New Work, 2019/2020). Her writing has been seen onstage in Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, and Toronto.

Sarah Feutl (she/her) is an Edmonton-born performer, producer and arts educator. Recent credits include Much Ado About Nothing (Freewill Shakespeare Festival) S.I.S.T.E.R., Queen Lear is Dead, and Off'd On Whyte (TFDC), The Lobbyists (Chinook), The Romeo Initiative (SkirtsAfire Festival) and The Fall of the House of Atreus (Impossible Mongoose Productions; Sterling Award Nominee for Outstanding Performance by an Actress). As a theatre instructor, she has taught at theatre training camps and at high schools around Edmonton. Sarah also holds a Masters in Global Affairs from the Munk School Of Global Affairs & Public Policy. When not creating theatre, she works on migration policy, global development and human security.

Carmen Osahor (she/her) is a creator, performer and director, and wears all these hats with The Fox Den Collective. Recent performing credits include Benched (TFDC/Theatre Direct), The Big Sad, Queen Lear is Dead (TFDC), The Listening Room (Cardiac Theatre), How to Say Goodbye (Mile Zero Dance), Prophecy (Impossible Mongoose; Sterling Award Winner). Recent directing credits include Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike (Alumnae Theatre Company), The Wolves (All the Hats Productions), S.I.S.T.E.R (TFDC), Off'd on Whyte: an Old Strathcona Murder Mystery (TFDC/Found Festival) Festival). Carmen also works as an actor in the immersive escape rooms at Casa Loma, and will embark on an MA in Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies at the U of T in the fall of 2024.
